Wonderful quality education!

It's alright, but some things they do are really strange. The homework amount of homework they give out is unimaginable and some of the people are odd as well. They could afford to get better teacher in some areas but I guess they can just deal with it. Besides, I don't go there I watch from heaven so whatever.

In conclusion, the school has too strict rules, too little to offer, and too much of a workload is given on students. As a member of the community, I have noticed that parents/grandparents of the students have recommended the school to others. However, I have never once had a student recommend the school to anyone. They make the school look amazing and super happy to the public, but the result when you crack open the of the school is a mediocre-at-best, stressful, boring experience. Even the happy-looking, 'teachers-pets" students confess that they see the need for change and do not like the way the school is in its current form. There needs to be changes here. I would love for the school to listen to its students, ask, and consider the changes that the students want. Overall, I give WCCS the most possible lowest score, a 1/5.

Not a fan. too much work given to students, too little breaks, way too strict rules. Seriously, no shorts? no electronics use outside of PC apps, not even in lunch? 27 credits required to graduate here, where the rest of WV schools only require 19? only 1 week for Christmas ? And why are we required to do work DURING snow days through the use of ' Blizzard Packs'? and why are jeans a 'privilege'? and why is the semester not end until the 11th of January when everywhere else it ends this week? Why does everyone brag about how conservative the school is, and how much conservative-ness they force onto us? Why does bible class count for a grade? and why no pep band or football? Why is the punishment system such a failure (which are called 'demerits') ? Why do some rooms still NOT have smart boards in 2017? Why do the teachers never use technology in the classroom at all? Why do some of the Chapel guest speakers speak so intense and use fear-mongering to put their point across? Why don't we get out on Veteran's Day? Why are some rules strictly enforced and others flat-out ignored? Schools' ways are too backward man. I would advice most to go to public school. There needs to be some big changes with the school's rules, policy, and attitude. Unless you are extremely Christian and Conservative thinking, you will have a much better experience at public school. (If you are, I would advice looking elsewhere than WCCS. There are many other alternative Christian schools around.) Public school will have more kids and less Faith, but the rules are much more laid back and reasonable, they offer many more extracurricular activities, far less stress caused by a workload, and make much more sense in their teachings. However, the students are great people, and are good friends. They are some of the best kids I've ever met. They make the experience much more fun and more bearable.
